Not yet self-serve
Keys are issued by hand for a few more days.
Self-serve sign-up is built and is not switched on yet, so getting a key has to go through a person. Email hello@binding.law with what you are building and a key comes back, on the same Explorer terms published on the pricing page — free, no card.
Nothing here is gated behind that. Two endpoints need no key at all: /v1/law/coverage tells you exactly which jurisdictions, corpora and date ranges are answerable, and /v1/law/quality publishes what our own audit says about them. Both are unmetered.
