Competency to Testify in General

Every person is competent to be a witness except as otherwise provided for by these rules.

History

COMMENT ON RULE 601 Rule 601 is taken verbatim from our current Rule 601 except for the use of the federal title and the deletion of the reference to "statute" in our Rule 601.
