Copays

activein force · 2026-10-01 – presentcompiled-edition

Providers cannot charge Medicaid SSI HMO enrollees copays for covered services except in cases where the Medicaid SSI

HMO does not cover services such as dental, chiropractic, and pharmacy. However, even in these cases, providers are

prohibited from collecting copay from members who are exempt from the copay requirement.

When services are provided through fee-for-service or to members enrolled in a BadgerCare Plus HMO, copays will apply,

except when the member or the service is exempt from the copay requirement.
