Service, Filing, and Signing of Papers
CR 5 and CrR 8.4 apply to the service and filing of papers under these rules. None of the
papers required by these rules to be served are original process. All briefs and motions signed by
an attorney shall include the attorney’s Washington State Bar Association membership number in
the signature block.
