View of Premises by Jury
The court may allow the jury to view the place in which any material fact occurred. In such
event it shall order the jury to be conducted in a body, in the custody of a proper officer of the
court to the place which shall be shown to them by the judge. The defendant shall be present at
the view. During the view, no person other than the judge or person authorized by the judge shall
speak to the jury on any subject relating to the trial.
