What provider number is required when billing HCA?
Bill HCA for all professional services in one of the following ways:
• When the primary physician performs the service, bill using their NPI number.
- OR-
• When a physician, other than the primary physician, performs the service, bill
using the primary physician NPI number as the referring provider on the
claim.
