How are pediatric palliative care (PPC) services provided?
PPC services are provided through a hospice agency. HCA's case
management/coordination services for PPC provide the care coordination and
skilled care services to clients who have life-limiting medical conditions. Family
members and caregivers of clients eligible for pediatric palliative care services
also may receive support through care coordination when the services are related
to the client’s medical needs.
