VERMONT SUPREME COURT

AUGUST TERM, 2026

Order Making Permanent the Emergency Amendment to Rule 80.3(g)of the Vermont Rules

of Probate Procedure

Pursuant to the Vermont Constitution, Chapter II, § 37, and 12 V.S.A. § 1, it is hereby ordered:

1. That the emergency amendment to Rule 80.3(g) of the Vermont Rules of Probate

Procedure, promulgated on October 6, 2025, effective January 1, 2026, be made permanent,

effective immediately.

2. That the Chief Justice is authorized to report this order to the General Assembly in

accordance with the provisions of 12 V.S.A. § 1, as amended.

Done in Chambers at Montpelier, Vermont, this 18th day of August, 2026.
