VERMONT SUPREME COURT
OCTOBER TERM, 2024
Order Making Permanent the Emergency Amendments to Rules 17(b) and 20(e)(3)
of the Vermont Rules of Admission to the Bar of the Vermont Supreme Court
Pursuant to the Vermont Constitution, Chapter II, § 37, and 12 V.S.A. § 1, it is hereby ordered:
1. That the emergency amendments to Rules 17(b) and 20(e)(3) of the Vermont Rules of
Admission to the Bar of the Vermont Supreme Court, promulgated on September 13, 2022, and
effective on October 1, 2022, be made permanent, effective immediately.
2. That the Chief Justice is authorized to report this order to the General Assembly in
accordance with the provisions of 12 V.S.A. § 1, as amended.
Done in Chambers at Montpelier, Vermont, this 8th day of October, 2024.
