Effect of Noncompliance With Rules Regarding Briefs
If an appellant fails to file a brief in compliance with these Rules, this Court may
dismiss the appeal. If an appellee fails to file a brief in compliance with these Rules, this
Court may disregard any additional assignments of error raised by the appellee. If one
party has complied with the Rules governing briefs, but the other has not, the party in
default will not be heard orally if the case proceeds to oral argument, except for good
cause shown.
