Preservation of Issues for Appellate Review

No ruling of the trial court, disciplinary board, commission, or other tribunal before

which the case was initially hea rd will be considered as a basis for reversal unless an

objection was stated with reasonable certainty at the time of the ruling, except for good

cause shown or to enable this Court to attain the ends of justice. A mere statement that

the judgment or award is contrary to the law and the evide nce is not sufficient to preserve

the issue for appellate review.
