Highway Condemnation: Definition of Limited Access Highway
The land described in the petition is being taken for a “limited access highway.” A limited
access highway is a highway especially designed for through traffic. Abutting landowners have no
easement or right to light, air, or access just because their property abuts the limited access
highway.
