Duty of Hospitals

activein force · 2026-04-01 – presentcompiled-edition

A hospital has the duty to exercise reasonable care and attention for a patient’s safety as his

mental and physical condition, if known, may require.

If a hospital fails to perform this duty, then it is negligent.

You must determine the degree of care that was required of the hospital by considering only

the expert testimony on that subject.
