Lookout: When Lights to Be Lighted
The driver of a vehicle has a duty to display lighted headlights and taillights [from sunset to
sunrise; whenever persons or vehicles on the highway are not clearly visible at a distance of 500 feet;
whenever windshield wipers are in continuous use as a result of fog, rain, sleet, or snow].
If a driver fails to perform this duty, then he is negligent.
