Member cost of care contributions

When a hospice member in a nursing facility has a monetary obligation to

contribute to their cost of care in the facility, the facility will continue to collect

and retain the contribution the same as for a non-hospice nursing facility

member.

The hospice agency will bill Medicaid for the room and board at the daily per

diem rate of that nursing care facility.
