S.D. Tex. CrLR 46.2
Return of Criminal Bond Deposits
When a depositor is entitled to a refund of the deposit, the clerk will submit
the request for the refund to the United States Attorney who will certify that the
defendant has met the obligations of the bond fully and that the United States
Attorney consents to the return.
