D.S.C. Local Civ. Rule 55.01
Orders and Judgments
The clerk of court is authorized to enter judgments by
default as provided for in Fed. R. Civ. P. 55(a) and 55(b)(1) without further direction of the court
pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 58. However, such action may be suspended, altered, or rescinded by
the court for good cause shown.
