Procedure as to Initial Papers
All initial papers in criminal cases shall be first filed in the Office of the Clerk, who shall
stamp on the indictment, information, complaint, petition, or other initial paper of every case to
be filed the number of the case and the name of the District Judge to whom it is assigned. The
numbering and assignment of each case shall be completed before processing of the next case is
commenced.
