E.D. Mo. L.R. 12.05
Law Student Practice
A judge may authorize the participation of a law student certified under Missouri
Supreme Court Rule 13 to assist in the preparation and presentation of a civil or criminal case.
A motion for such authorization must be accompanied by the party’s signed consent to the
participation of the law student on the party’s behalf. The law student shall be supervised by an
attorney of record.
