N.D. Ind. L.R. 83-6.1
Attorney Discipline
(a) Who Is Subject to Discipline. Any attorney authorized to represent a party
before the court may be disciplined under N.D. Ind. L.R. 83-6.1 through 83-6.13.
(b) Scope of Discipline Rules. These discipline rules (N.D. Ind. L.R. 83-6.1 through
83-6.13) do not apply to or limit:
(1) sanctions or other disciplinary or remedial actions authorized by the
Federal Rules of Civil or Criminal Procedure; or
(2) the court’s inherent or statutory power to maintain control over the
proceedings conducted before it, such as contempt proceedings under
Title 18 United States Code or under Fed. R. Crim. P. 42.
