DUTIES OF CLERKS
45.1 Location. The clerk’s office is maintained in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
45.2 Release of Original Papers. The clerk may release original records or papers
without a court order for a limited time upon a party’s or counsel’s request, to facilitate
preparation of a brief in a pending appeal.
45.3 Office To Be Open. The clerk’s office is open for business on all days except
Saturdays, Sundays, designated federal holidays, and Mardi Gras.
