Committee Comments: Prior Court Rule 29 (Introductory Paragraph) has no counterpart in
FRAP and is therefore classified as Miscellaneous. 3d Cir. L.A.R.
Misc. 111.1 broadens the scope of the prior rule to provide for
review of death sentences imposed on federal as well as state
prisoners. Where applicable, 3d Cir. L.A.R. Misc. 111.2 - 111.7
are similarly amended to reflect the broadened scope of 3d Cir.
Misc. 111.0.
