(Standard) §486.344(c)(4) Document potential donor’s record with all test results,
including blood type, before organ recovery.
Interpretive Guidelines §488.344(c)(4)
Review the sample of donor records to confirm that the results of all tests ordered or
performed by the OPO during its evaluation for donor suitability are included in the
donor record. The documentation may be in the form of actual laboratory or test reports
or the results may be documented in narrative in the OPO Coordinator notes.
