§482.80(a) Standard: Data Submission
No later than 90 days after the due date established by the OPTN, a transplant program
must submit to the OPTN at least 95 percent of required data on all transplants (deceased
and living donor) it has performed. Required data submissions include, but are not limited
to, submission of the appropriate OPTN forms for transplant candidate registration,
transplant recipient registration and follow-up and living donor registration and follow-up.
Guideline §482.80 (a)
The determination of compliance or non-compliance with this Standard is made prior to the on-site survey. The determination is shared with the program at the time of the survey. Since this
finding is based upon data submitted to the OPTN prior to the survey, the program may not
submit any additional or corrected data during the survey to change the compliance
determination. Additional guidance for processing initial surveys can be found in the SOM,
Chapter 2.
