[ ...the services furnished by the distinct part unit must comply with ...the additional
requirements of §412.27 of Part 412 of this chapter for excluded psychiatric units.
Excluded psychiatric units: Additional requirements (§412.27):
"...A psychiatric unit must ...
(d)(3) Nursing services ....]
(ii) ...There must be adequate numbers of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses,
and mental health workers to provide the nursing care necessary under each
inpatient's active treatment program."
