[ ...the services furnished by the distinct part unit must comply with ...the additional
requirements of §412.27 of Part 412 of this chapter for excluded psychiatric units.
Excluded psychiatric units: Additional requirements (§412.27):
"In order to be excluded from the prospective payment system ... a psychiatric unit
must meet the following requirements:]
(b) Furnish, through the use of qualified personnel, psychological services, social work
services, psychiatric nursing, and therapeutic activities."
