§483.376(a) The facility must require staff to have ongoing education, training, and
demonstrated knowledge of –
Interpretive Guidelines§ 483.376(a)
The facility staff must attend ongoing training and education activities in the required
areas outlined below (N-0215-N-0218). It is imperative that the facility identify and
provide for the training needs of staff based upon their responsibilities to include direct
care staff as well as administrative, clerical and housekeeping staff. Review the facility
documentation in staff files to verify that the training is occurring.
