§483.460(g)(1) The availability for emergency dental treatment on a 24-hour-a-day basis by a
licensed dentist; and

The facility should be able to produce upon request, a written contract/agreement between the
facility and a licensed dentist for 24/7 guidance/provision of emergency services for the clients.
The agreement should also indicate what back-up coverage will be provided when the dentist is
not available.
