§483.460(d)(1) Nurses providing services in the facility must have a current license to practice
in the State.
Guidance §483.460(d)(1)
The facility should have a procedure in place to ensure that any contract nursing staff members
are currently licensed prior to the provision of services. Include any contract nurses used by the
facility in the sample of nurses reviewed for licensure.
