§483.450(a)(1)(iii) Specify client conduct to be allowed or not allowed; and
Guidance §483.450(a)(1)(iii)
“Client conduct" refers to any behavior, choice, action, or activity in which a client may choose
to engage alone or with others.
Written policies and procedures which may be in the form of “house rules”, must not impinge
on individual client rights and must not be used as a substitute for the development of
individualized programs and plans.
