§ 494.140(f) Standard: Water treatment system technicians
Technicians who perform
monitoring and testing of the water treatment system must complete a training program
that has been approved by the medical director and the governing body.
Interpretive Guidance § 494.140(f):
Any staff member who operates the water treatment system must complete a training program
approved by the medical director and the governing body prior to independently performing
water treatment system tasks. Refer to V260 in the Condition for water and dialysate quality for
additional requirements related to training for the persons operating the water/dialysate
systems.
