8 Environment (access to ports and meters)
The layout of the water purification system should provide easy access to all components of
the system, including all meters, gauges, and sampling ports used for monitoring system
performance.

Occasionally, systems may be located in an area with limited space, Regardless of the layout of
the water purification system, provision must be made to allow staff immediate access all
equipment, ports, etc. to operate and monitor the system. In all cases, the operator should be
able to describe and identify the various components and the distribution system.
