§485.914(e)(4) The CMHC must adhere to all Federal and State-related requirements
pertaining to the medical privacy and the release of client information.
Interpretive Guidelines §485.914(e)(4)
The CMHC must follow their policy regarding release of client information and the policy
and procedures must conform to Federal and State requirements. The HIPAA Privacy
Rule is located at 45 CFR Part 160 and Subparts A and E of Part 164.
