Precautions to be followed to protect the patient from unnecessary exposure to
radiation;
Interpretive Guidelines:§ 486.104(b)(1)
The supplier of portable X-ray services must have an orientation program for
personnel based on a procedural manual which includes instructions in precautions
to be followed to protect the patient from unnecessary radiation.
