§493.1278 Standard: Histocompatibility
(b) Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing. The laboratory must do the following:
(b)(1) Use HLA antigen terminology from the World Health Organization (WHO)
Nomenclature Committee for Factors of the HLA System.

Does the laboratory use the current WHO nomenclature for their HLA typing? (For
example, review test reports or other documentation.)
