§484.45(b) Standard: Accuracy of encoded OASIS data
The encoded OASIS data
must accurately reflect the patient's status at the time of assessment.
Interpretive Guidelines §484.45(b)
“Accurate” means that the OASIS data transmitted to CMS is consistent with the status of
the patient at the time the OASIS was completed.
