Harboring Offenses
The Violent Crime and Racketeering Section of the Criminal Division has supervisory jurisdiction over 18 U.S.C. § 1071 (concealing a person from arrest) and 18 U.S.C. § 1072 (concealing an escaped prisoner). Violations of the statutes are investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
