Carjacking—18 U.S.C. § 2119
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has been tasked with the authority to investigate violations of the carjacking statute (18 U.S.C. § 2119). The Violent Crime and Racketeering Section has supervisory authority for the carjacking statute.
