REDUCTION IN SENTENCE (COMPASSIONATE RELEASE REQUESTS)

Under 18 U.S.C. §§ 3582 (c)(1)(A)(i) & 4205(g), institutions may request an inmate be

considered for a reduction in sentence (compassionate release) due to extraordinary and

compelling medical conditions. Information for the request for a reduction in sentence is

gathered from several departments within the institution.
