BOP Program Statement 5525.01 § 7
TERMINATING LOCKDOWNS AND MODIFIED OPERATIONS
To ensure the effective balance of safety and rehabilitation, institutions must terminate
lockdowns and modified operations as soon as credible information and security needs indicate it
is safe to do so.
