This Change Notice (CN) implements the following changes to Program Statement 5310.16,

Treatment and Care of Inmates with Mental Illness, dated May 01, 2014, to remove

references to any concept that may conflict with the January 20, 2025, Executive Order

Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the

Federal Government.

The additions are marked with a highlight and inserted into the policy. The deletions are marked

with a strikethrough.

(2) ADX Referral Review Procedures

ADX Mental Health Evaluation

■ Identifying Data. Identifying data includes: inmate name and register number, gender

sex, race, ethnicity, languages spoken, date of birth and age, current sentence, and projected

release date. In addition, the identifying data section indicates the date and place of the

evaluation and the name of the evaluator.
