BOP Program Statement 3939.08 § 7
TRAINING FOR CHAPLAINS
■ Chaplains will adhere to the most current version of the Bureau’s Mandatory
Training Standards.
■ Chaplains will have the option to complete firearms training; however, once participation is
waived, the individual cannot participate in local annual refresher firearms training.
■ Chaplains may submit additional continuing education training requests to CSB.
