BOP Program Statement 3937.01 § 1
PURPOSE AND SCOPE. To establish a developmental program for
Electronic Technicians and specify selection and training
requirements.
These positions are established at institutions for no more than
18 months. The Central Office funds the position for only one
year. After that year, the institution shall be responsible for
the salary of the trainee until they are transferred into a
permanent position.
