BOP Program Statement 3760.01 § 4
SUPERVISORY AND MANAGERIAL TRAINING
EAP Coordinators must provide Bureau supervisors and managers with information and training
regarding the following:
Procedures and requirements for drug testing
Staff referral to the EAP
Signs of possible drug use, or drug induced impairment
Confidentiality of staff in treatment programs
The training must also include information to help supervisors and managers be aware of drug-related behavior and recognize facts that give rise to a reasonable suspicion that a staff member
may be using or abusing drugs or alcohol. The training must be documented in their training
record.
