BOP Program Statement 3510.10 § 6
CLASSIFICATION APPEALS
Employees have the right to appeal the correctness of the title, series, grade, or pay category
assigned to their position. GS employees may appeal through agency procedures or directly to
OPM. FWS employees must exhaust agency procedures before appealing to OPM. HR
Administrators/HRMs must contact CCS immediately when they become aware of an appeal
filed with DOJ or OPM.
