BOP Program Statement 3510.10 § 5
APPLICATION OF NEW CLASSIFICATION STANDARDS
CCS will review positions affected by a new or revised Office of Personnel Management (OPM)
classification standard or guide. The review must be completed within 12 months from the
official release date. In the event a new unique PD is required, the local HRO is responsible for
submitting the PD and related documents to CCS for classification.
