BOP Program Statement 3420.14 § 10

JUST DEBTS

Failure on the part of any employee, without good reason and in a timely manner, to honor debts

acknowledged by them to be valid or reduced to judgment by a court, or to adhere to satisfactory

arrangements for the settlement of the debts, may result in appropriate disciplinary action up to

and including removal.

Depending on the circumstances, an employee who receives a legally valid garnishment order

may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including removal.
