BOP Program Statement 3305.01 § 1
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
To provide general guidance related to the use of alternative work schedules within the Bureau of
Prisons (Bureau), as well as establish procedures for implementing, managing, and terminating
alternative work schedules.
a. Program Objectives.
Create a streamlined and simplified process for the creation, management, and
discontinuation of compressed work schedules.
Communicate the conditions applicable to the use of compressed work schedules (CWS).
b. Institution Supplement. None.
