BOP Program Statement 3293.02 § 1
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
To provide procedures and responsibilities for:
the clearance of separating staff,
personnel records, and
time and attendance (T&A) reporting.
a. Program Objectives.
Outstanding property obligations and financial indebtedness to the Bureau of Prisons
(Bureau) will be addressed prior to a staff member’s separation.

Communicate the requirements for the establishment, maintenance, and availability of
staff electronic personnel records.
Communicate the requirements for the processing of T&A data.
