DESIGNATION OF DEBT MANAGEMENT OFFICER

A Deputy Assistant Director, Administration Division, is designated as the Debt Management

Officer for the BOP. The Debt Management Officer is to:

■ Determine collectability of accounts receivables and recommend disposition of the

receivables.

■ Make determinations and recommendations regarding requests for compromises of claim.

■ Ensure sound debt management policies and operations are in place in the BOP.

■ Answer outside inquiries regarding the BOP Debt Management Program.
